For those that already hate me... here's some fuel to the fire. For those that don't hate me... please don't start.



I contemplated not posting this because I know there are a lot of people out of work and/or struggling but then I thought.... "this is the DSF and we are all hard asses to each other anyways". So, if my good fortune makes anyone feel shitty or wanna cry... them's the breaks, i guess. Toughen up.

Just stopping in to tell you that this is turning out to be the best summer ever.

On top of moving to a kick ass city with an awesome new job, I have been to Nocturnal fest, EDC, met a ton of really cool friends.
I am currently seeing a really hot chick. I am also sunburnt from spending way too much time on the lake learning to wakeboard.

But really, all of that pales in comparison to the fact that while i was at a casino recently with friends...
I WON 25 FUCKING THOUSAND DOLLARS!!
Yes, that is correct $25,000. Read it and weep... yes, I am gloating. It's ok to hate me because I know most of you already do.

$25,000 free money that I didn't have to work for feels really quite nice. The casino took $7500 in taxes and i spent about another $2,500 so i have around $15,000 of that left.
Someone told me that there is a new law that says Canadians can get their tax money that they paid to the U.S. given back -- which i need to look up soon. I hope that's accurate.

Honestly, i was pretty wasted so it was all kind of a blur. It feels like that whole weekend was a dream.

What do i plan to do with it? Well, i really, really love being on the lake here. Having a bunch of people drinking, wakeboarding, and pulling inflatables is so much fun.
I thought about buying a boat but that's obviously impractical and $15k doesnt get you much boat. This girl told me about this boat club her boss belongs to.
It's $4k a year and they have a fleet of 30 new boats that you can take out anytime you want. They provide any amount of wakeboards and life jackets you need.
You pull up and hop in the boat of your choice and you bring it back when you're done and hand them the keys... they do all the maintenance, handle the insurance and everything else.
I looked into it and it's pretty sweet. It's been on the news and everyone raves about it.... so i'm gonna plop the 4K down at the beginning of August to start that ( i need some time to put in some more serious work hours).
I'm pretty excited about it. other than that I just plan to spend some of it on booze, drugs and women. Easy come, easy go.

Anyways, i know most of you will think this is an internet tall tale so i've taken some pics of this cash before i open a U.S. bank account and deposit it (sorry, shitty cam phone pics).
This way you won't have to say "i call bullshit".
