feedback always helps. in open source programs you can check what is being actually done (and some people do). in most cases, the software will show you what is being sent. usually this is true. i send the info when using open-source programs, but not otherwise.

It depends on what it is. I typically don't allow it to send the information automatically. If I'm given the chance to do it manually (windows does this a lot) I generally will, provided it's not an error caused by my pirating something or a repeat of an error I've seen 500 times already that day.

I've got a issue with My tv driving me fucking nuts.
In the past I've connected My laptop (dell studio) to another tv via HDMI and had no problems. Now on new LG tv I get video perfect but no sound. Playback on audio shows the tv and shows connected, and the tv is selected as My audio device. also while I've been messing around with it I sometimes get a video can not be played error on vids that work fine w/o hdmi being attached.
any advice is appreciated
