Haha, no need to apologize. Everyone is aware that gagne is a washed up has-been who is way over paid. The Marlins would be far worse off if they had Gagne. Although, in comparison, the Brewers just signed Braun for 8 years for $45 million. I think that's a steal for last years NL Rookie of the Year, who is off to a pretty good start so far. Especially if it helps convince others to stay with the team to actually build a winning time.

Also, thanks heat. I was wondering if anyone would get it.

Yeah maybe another 100 years...it just seems like it will never happen since EVERY YEAR is the "cubs' year"....they're just too soft, i think.

Even if they win the central, the NL (outside of the west) is strong enough to keep them from advancing to the series.

I hate to say it but it looks like I am in for another October of watching someone else win the World Series. 18 years and counting for my Reds.

Alot of people like to bash baseball for being boring when all they care to do is watch the occasional game on TV from time to time. Baseball is a sport that must be watched in a stadium or field to appreciate it. the thing with baseball is when you have a team that you love you live or die with that team. It's a long season and there are a lot of ups and downs. I for one get excited every spring training for the season to start and start the funeral arrangements by the all star break. but they are my Reds and I love them no matter what.

I saw it and laughed pretty damn hard. As for the Cubs they are loveable losers. I'm a Jays fan since birth but I still gotta cheer for the Cubs especially with two Canadian pitchers on the staff and Reed Johnson in the outfield. Will they win it, no likely not. But I'd love to be proven wrong.
