They were just so fuckin good. Not great musicians, but put all 4 of them together and it was perfection. One of the biggest thrills in my life was looking off the stage at CBGB and seeing Dee Dee in the audience rocking out to our tunes. I was so in awe that Dee Dee was at my show, my balls shrunk and I didn't get up the nerve to say hi to him. All my friends kept teasing me, hey $%#& Dee Dee was asking about you.

eh, he would have probably grunted. I was standing right next to him, and my friend kept pushing me, so I would bump into him. I just felt stupid saying, DD I'm a big fan blah blah. Plus at the time, I thought I was on my way rock stardom, so I figured we would meet eventually when we opened for them

No, I am his turtle janitor. He pays me to check up on his turtles once a week, and clean the filters. I get paid pretty well for it, but I have to wait weeks to get paid sometimes.
