i just stepped outside to have a ciggarette, when i did i saw a van drive by, as a lit it i saw them out the brake lights on and turn around, the van stopped arcoss the street from me the passenger door opened and i heard the guy who got out yell soemthing to me, thank god i was right in front of the door, i freaked and ran inside and locked the door. my hands are still shaking.

Well that is true for large calibers. I couldn't imagine you shooting my .40 or .45.

But I think a .22 or a 9mm would be right in your league. Its funny because everyone that I know that owns a gun doesn't really need one (myself included) because they can physically handle themselves. While you and my mom and my sister don't have one yet could benefit from one.

only way she can handle a 9mm is with a short clip and that might still have too much recoil for her. What about a .32?
