dont get me wrong, i whole heartedly believe that Fedor will not just beat Timmy, his will make him into minced meat. i do not think Timmy is a very good fighter dispite the fact that he has held the belt. i think he has never beaten the top crust of the heavy wieght div. seems to get a belt chance when its vacated or there is only 3 or 4 other guys in the div and none of which are very good. look at Rico for example, he had done almost nothing of record since he won the heavy wieght strap

Wow. I think Soze's love for Fedor is only matched by his Hatred of Frank Mir. . .Jesus. . .what would happen if Nog lost and Fedor lost. . .Soze's world cease to exist ?

i have no hatred for frank mir. i just think he is a piss poor fighter with limited skills who is undeservant of being in the same arena as nogueira. but other then that he seems like a nice enough guy.

as for fedor, yes, i'd let him have his way with me

mir's whole career is based off of his win against sylvia. well at least until he beat the mma savior-brock lesnar. tim on the other hand has beaten some of the best in the game. although i'm no fan of his i still feel sylvia is one of the best hw's of all time

his first 19 wins i would say that he never fought anyone above a marginal fighter, none in the top 20 at the time, and yes he did beat rico but he was a one fight wonder in my book

getting too late for me to start debating so let me keep this simple and maybe expand on it tomorrow. ricco was a great fighter, probably the second best hw in the world at the time. he beat arlovski, couture, and nogueira(if you saw the fight you'd realise that nog getting the win was one of the biggest bs decisions ever).

i may have glossed over some guys, and rico was on a roll going into that fight but dropped off the radar almost after the loss. he did beat andre, and he has seemed to be a hot and cold fighter streaky if u will in his history. the fight he lost to couture he looked like he didnt belong in the fight, and i did see that fight with nog, and anmost have to watch it again if i remember right i will agree with you on the call

Thought this was timely and also brings Ricco back into the picture, as I'm sure most of ya'll heard that he got pretty much dismantled in his boxing match. Sylvia might do alright against some low ranked guys, but top heavy weight boxers would still beat Timmay. Now get them in the Octagon and they're fucked. But in the Ring with no takedowns or grappling? Sorry, you're in their world.
