If you're into flavored vodkas, a Screwdriver made with Raspberry Vodka is great on a hot day-- almost as good as a Gin & Tonic ;-)

Otherwise, my top 3 are: Sidecar (Brandy, Cointreau or Triple Sec, Lemon Juice), Ward 8 (Bourbon or Rye, Lemon Juice, Orange Juice, Grenadine). Bombay Gin Martini (Bombay Sapphire, if I'm not driving...).

Jack and coke is always great, although I'm currently drinking jack and iced tea (no coke). Otherwise, a drink that'll get you fucked up is 1/2 jaeger, 1/2 goldschlager. We call 'em dead nazis.

haha, thanks. I know there's some sort of variant called liquid cocaine that involves jaeger, goldschlager, and maybe rumplemints, but I'm too lazy/drunk to look that one up.

Everyone should try sake at least once. I actually recommend it hot, but cold sake can also be good. I really recommend doing sake bombs which is a shot of sake dropped into a beer. It's awesome.

I also recommend tomodachi- it's warm sake and plum wine together, and is absolutely amazing. They mellow each other out- so it's not super-sweet like plum wine, but has a bit more sweetness than sake on it's own.

Most sushi restaurants serve it, even if it's not on the menu.
