lol well if i really like a band i will support them and buy the album. with tool it's good to have the actual cd and cases. you're missing out on some good stuff.

Me too, but in this case I figure they are popular enough, they don't need my money. That and I do like to have an original uncompressed source. Which is pretty much hopeless now, I have so much shitty lossy shit.

i understand.

But, truthfully, the best thing you can do for an artist is go to their live shows (i'm sure you already do). The artists get so little money from actual CD sales. Sure it adds up when you sell millions of albums. But go to shows and also buy merch there....that's where they make their real money...that and radio airplay.

Tool is insane. I have seen them twice, ONCE ON HALLOWEEN. You can imagine how insane that shit was, I was on the floor for one show, in seats for the other. It is one of the most visually stunning shows i have ever been to, there are soooo many visuals and crazy things to look at and the music..........well it speaks for itself. If you like them at all you MUST see them to transform the like into the love for this band.
