I saw the Giants completely dismantle my Skins twice and on tv a bunch of other times just looking unstoppable. Their running backs are the key to their team and they just dont make mistakes. The Jimmy Johnson defense hasnt looked that impressive and scary this year and I dont think they can disrupt the Giants.
The game is the Giant's to lose.
But dont count out McNabb having an unbelievable game as a final "fuck you" to the city that was trashing him unfairly for the past couple of years. But that will only be possible if his receivers have magically learned to catch in the past week. That Vikings team was horrible, but I like that the Eagles fans that I know are getting this false sense of confidence. All the better to be crushed.
*And I think Thermos was the Philly guy I was referring to that took umbrage to my Philly bashing so this props is for you

Huh? Brady Quinn will be a top NFL qb. I believe that.
The Browns need leadership. I really don't know if Mangina has the stuff to keep our Prima Donna's in line, but I'm hoping.
The Browns have some talent.
Free agency, plus top draft picks could turn the tide.
I'll be very surprised if Derek Anderson is still around next season. He's worth too much to struggling teams. He's worth some picks.
Who knows?

the jury is still out on quinn. he needs a full training camp and a couple of games before he is fully judged. mangina needs to make him the starting qb and stick with him. also, if edwards doesnt drop 20 passes next year i bet you will have a couple more wins

No, they won't.
And they didn't outplay them. How do you outplay someone when you get a safety on yourself? Someone said it earlier that the game was the Giants to lose and lose they did.
Philly has played a crappy Vikes that took the ball out of the hands of their best player, Peterson, and put it in the hands of their shakiest, Jackson.
Then they played a team that their star receiver shot himself and their now central defensiveman covered up for him. Not to mention that their actual star D-man Osi has been out all year. So to say that the G-men were really focused and going to win in a heightened atmosphere with a straight face is a joke in itself.
Now, the biggest surprise has been the Cards beating the Panthers, at home. If I was Philly, I would legitimately be afraid of Kurt Warner, Whisenhunt and Fitzgerald.
I think Philly fails in the desert.
On the AFC side, I want to pick the Ravens. I really do. Their defense is playing well and Flacco is playing smart. I just feel that it is going to be a moot point when they play against the Steelers, provided they win against San Dog tonight. However, my good conscience won't let me pick anything else but the Steelers to win. I think their defense is better than the Ravens defense, and they will pick apart the eventual NFC Champ Cardinals.
I wouldn't be too quick on that assumption.
Let's table this discussion for about a week or so, and see how that plays out.
I will grant you this tho, Arizona has been really strong against the run and Philly is not a run first team.
Philly may be playing with heart, and McNabb may be playing really good football since he got benched, but Philly had heart going for them when they played the Pats for the SuperBowl, too. And I think we all know how that turned out...
