1974 Datsun 260Z (mine was green)

I've had ALOT of cars & trucks, and though I ride in style these days, I still miss this car. I've also had a an older 911, a few sporty late model cars that are all decked out with electronics, etc. - but this car was a blast to drive back in college, and I don't know why I haven't grabbed one as a weekend driver yet. I really think this was a great sport driver on a budget*.

(*of course in another life I'm driving a DB9

1974 Opel Manta (very like this: blue)

Incredibly sweet, stylish, quick car, bought NEW with insurance money I got when the Pinto I had was totaled. Happy to have walked away from a Pinto crash w/o incinerating, I ran to the Opel dealer. Literally.

I love this Jeep. I still have it, but it needs a clutch right now. I don't know who the hell the angry guy is.

1990 Mercury Cougar
mine was dark gray, i picked it up for 1,200 back in 1997, and was very suprised at how great it was, great ride, so comfortable, and i'll be damned if that little 3.8 liter didn't run like a champ, i just kept it tuned and lubed, and it ran perfect, until it attacked a deer one night. go figure a cougar killed a deer.

I'm seeing a lot of Jeeps in this list. I've owned several (CJs, J10s, Wagoneers), and I always love a Jeep.

prob would have to be a 72 Toyota corolla. bagged the shit out of it. bout it from my buddy that was going to jail after my camaro tranny broke. between him and i driving it we had some wild times. mug bogging with it. car chase where we hit water and slid into a curb and broke the read axle. if u made a u turn one way you had to do 3 the other way to fix the steering. you could sit in the drivers seat and put your hands out both front windows it was so narrow.

it was a yellow color so we called it butterscotch. great car RIP

Hell yeah Posty. I had a 1983 280ZX only mine was white with t-tops and red interior. Had the louvers. I loved that car. Even though I bought it mid 90s it was the shit until it got stolen

My favorite ever though was my canary yellow 1980 cj5. Mine even had the rack and the crazy whip antennae that banged into every overpass. In fact, the jeep in the pic below could be the identical twin of my old ride.
The ex made me sell it when we got married so that we could have an "adult" car.
One of these days Ima getting another one.

Fucking love this ride!
