Going to be in TX from the 7th through the 13th. Got meetings at Texas Tech for a few days then off to Brownsville zoo for a few days after that. Never been to TX in my whole life and this is going to be my third time this year. Dallas and San Antonio are beautiful cities. And the countryside is spectacular.

The director of the zoo there is going to partially sponsor my alligator work. Brownsville will be my favorite part of TX if that goes through. I will be with two Chinese nationals, so I don't think we will be able to cross the border. Great snake hunting in that part of the world I hear. Glad it's May and not August

Yep, I think I'd pass on the Brownsville trip if it was me. Might be fun during hurricane season though.

We're headed down to Galveston to hop a ship on the 15th. Cozumel bound.!

Have to go, it's business. But I think every time you see a new city or travel to a different place it enriches your life. I am looking forward to at least seeing it for one day. A lot of great herpetology came out of that zoo over the last few decades and the director is kind of hot too which is a plus
