That is absolutely gorgeos, Posty. My wife's grandfather left her two bolt-action rifles he brought back from WWII, but I've not examined them closely enough to find their manufacturer yet, just to know the barrels are well-oiled and clear and the bolt travels freely. Great sidearm there, man.

I've had a few Taurus, including a .357 and the Judge GF shows here, and although I was not a huge fan of revolvers, they were both very reliable and shot straight and true.

I've got my Beretta still from the Corps, and I love it, just don't like the idea of a 9mm, I like more than stopping force, I like knocking-down force I guess. If they have to pick their carcass up off the ground, all the better.
Anyway, here, are some of my babies.
Tac-50 I bought for a friend in Canada who ended up not being able to afford it. I love it almost as much as I love my Barrett.
Grace, my Barrett from the Marines, is a helluva system and has great range and accuracy. Sight adjustments are very easy, too. Saved my ass a time or twelve.
I love the M249 SAW, it's versatile and packs a punch. It's no M60, sure, but the fact that you could use rounds from the M16 in a pinch (good luck linking them together in a pinch) is a nice touch.
The M9 Beretta was the standard-issue sidearm when I was in the Corps, but of course I wasn't an officer or in the rear with the gear, so I only got to play with it on the range and for qualifying. Great piece of metal though.
I don't have a conceal and carry license in NC, so I have this tucked into the back pocket of the front passenger seat. In case of trouble, I can have it out and at the ready in seconds. I'd like to think I'm almost as deadly with this as I am with any of the rifles or sides.

You should definitely check those out. I have a 1942 Husqvarna 'Mauser' in 6.5x55 Swedish, fit with a sport stock, for distance targeting/hunting - that I really prefer to my Rem 30-06 for accuracy.
If we're talking rifles now, my favorite remains my Marlin 336 SS in 30-30 - I use it more as a brush gun, holstered to saddle bags when we go backwoods. Fun to handle what is essentially an improved cowboy gun - that, combined with a couple .22 single action revolvers complete with hip holsters are what we use to go out and play old west when we're targeting.

Yeah, I'm gonna pull the rifles back out tonight and look at them a little closer. Wife is scared of guns, but the other Friday when there was some pounding on doors/windows at our house or the one next door, she sure made me go grab one of those rifles. I told her without rounds it was pointless, and got my Ka-Bar instead. I figure if they break in and get a shot off, and it doesn't kill me, they won't get a second.
That Marlin sounds nice, I'm not a huge fan of pump-action rifles as much as I like Bolt-actions and lever-actions (I'm assuming yours is lever-action, every Marlin 336 I've seen is).
my favorite gun! whatever is attached to boobs and bikini's

I love me a 30-30! I haven't had an opportunity to shoot one in a few years, though. I sold my guns when I started having children.
If I could have any one of them back, I would get my old Browning.
It was similar to this except mine was from the 30's I believe...can't remember exactly, but it was from when the entire weapon was made in Belgium.
