Yeah, I've got a wonderful circa 1720 French Louis XV bonnet-topped armoire with shaped paneled doors highlighted by chevron parquetry, pierced escutcheons, and full hinges and when I first got it it had exceptional oyster veneering on the frieze, but over the years, the scotch tape from my Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana posters has caused the veneer to discolor and in some places to crack. I'm wondering what would be the best way to strip it and refinish it? Don't worry, I'm past my Miley stage so I wouldn't be hanging any more of her posters on it. I'm totally into Selena Gomez now.
