There's nothing more exhilarating than pointing out the shortcomings of others, is there?

Strikeforce: Melendez vs. Thomson is on HDNet right now. I can't wait. Two of the best lightweights who are pretty unknown in the US, especially Melendez.
I had to stop watching these events at night...I get so tense from watching these guys beat the shit out of each other that later I can't get to sleep. I now record them on DVR and watch during the day. Does this happen to anyone else? Maybe I need to drink more beer!

I fell asleep on the couch while the fights were going on so I guess I don't have the problem you have. I had the DVR running so I finished it up this morning.

Meh. Lots of takedowns and ground control in most of the fights that ended up in decisions. Plus, I was exhausted from drinking Thursday night and working all day Friday. Strikeforce only has a handful of really good fighters. They usually manage to get one or two good fights on a card and the rest are mediocre.
