Considering we are famous for our drinking, there are only few Irish beers. Guinness you know about, then there's Beamish and Murphy's which are very similar, Smithwick's which is a red ale, Harp lager and Bulmers Cider. That's about it.
Most Irish beer drinkers drink American beer, and not even the good American beer. Bud is the biggest seller here, Coors and Miller are popular too. I drink Carlsberg mostly, its Danish. There are a few micro-breweries that do their own stuff, but the vast majority is Bud and Heineken. Give me a Sam Adams anyday over either of those two (but I can't get it here)
