I was working. Meeting with people at the beef processing plant. We were working out details for a company wide project and I needed to scope out the differences for the Canadian plant. There were none, but I had fun for a few days.

Timmies is my favorite coffee shop! They make awesome iced cap's.

I was surprised to recently find out that there is only 347
Tim Hortons locations in the States,as opposed to the over 3000 we got over here.

Starbucks is good too,but pricey.

Not too fond of Dunkin Donuts though.

yeah they have a big plant there. to bad you didnt get a chance to go to the Calgary Stampede whle you were up at high river since u were so close.

Tims is owned but the Wendy's company of burger chains, but they just recently started to expand into the US market in the last 2 yrs i think. the Wendy's side of the company had been floundering lately while the Tims side was beed growing very fast and making lots of money. there are tryin to get a share of all the Starbucks market, and the had just announced cuts ad closures of 300+ Starbucks so that may make things easier to gain ground, plus the donuts are very good and different compared to Dunkins

It was going on then, but we had some pretty long days, so I stayed close to High River. There is another town nearby where we went to eat a few times, but the name escapes me.
