I know I haven't done much in the way of posts, but I completely understand where you guys are coming from with people needing to earn the avatar.

It's not like you walk into a new job and just expect to get a big brass nameplate on the desk! It needs to be earnt. (unless of course, you are the dude that orders the big brass nameplates, then i'm sure you could fuck with the system....)
