IMHO, everything about iOS sucks. I've got an old adapter for the deck in my truck that used to connect to my Nano really well. I had no problems when I upgraded to an iPod Touch 32GB, until I let fucking itunes upgrade iOS to 4.1. Now, it's slow as fuck, and i can only play songs that are on a playlist. Changing playlists is even more of a nightmare, as it takes four times as long for the Touch to wade through the iOS bullshit and play a song.
If it wasn't equally a pain in the ass to revert to iOS 3.1 (requires a jailbreak, followed by a bunch of hoops you have to jump through) I'd have done so already, but it's not worth the headache.

Anythings possible, but I think it's just apple's crappy software. Either way, I may not have mentioned that it only behaves like a little bitch when I'm in the car. With headphones, or plugged into my Altec Lansing im9 it works just fine.

Fixed it for you.
