Umm...that sounds like the thing I had to pick cause my furnace won't fit the coil thing above it and it's fairly new, so I think so.
I already got myself ripped off I think $3k-$5k cause when they asked me how I found them, I mentioned the person I used to know that worked there over 20 years ago, and surprise to me, is still there.
I'm pretty sure he hates me so I don't know why I even said that. He threw a knife in my general direction once, although I know he missed by a lot on purpose, which I am thankful for, but anyway when they said they gave me the "President of the company's" discount, I'm pretty sure it's the same thing as when you buy a car and they say that shit. LOL
Then they also included a tax credit in their price breakdown, to make it look like a better price, but who knows if I actually get it.
I'm in sales so I know what this guy was doing when he did it. Just kind of pisses me off that they think I'm stupid and don't see through this BS.
But my house is a major pain in the ass to deal with and it was still in my ballpark so hopefully that's just me making conspiracy theories, but I really don't think so.

Mini split is the way to go. You have an AC unit in each room mounted to the wall and an AC compressor unit outside. you have to run lines to each unit but you have total control of what temp you want in each room. Say you like it cool to sleep you can be at 70 in the BR and all the other rooms 75 or so. So much savings in electricity and they are more reliable.
