Never so much as got to shake his hand but I still feel like Joe was my friend. I imagine Joe made a lot of us feel that way. The guy seemed to be nothing but heart. He was probably the first helping hand to every problem or question I've had here and I will always appreciate how much he helped me feel like I belonged here. Thanks Buddy.
a lot of people have left the forum, or stopped posting, or felt abandoned, etc. not Joe, though. he never gave up. he kept saying "We made the forum what it was, we need to take it back, and fix it." by "we" he didnt mean anyone in particular.....he meant the posters, the assholes, the personalities. he meant "all of us". he REALLY wanted to be a moderator here......not so he would have "power", but so that he could help. he wanted the forum to succeed, and become better than it ever was. so, we owe him, to continue that, and not give up. i think he would have wanted that.
The future is unwritten, but I'm illustrating it now.

The only thing I'd change there is that it wasn't that he wanted to be moderator, he just wanted there to be one, to keep the forum alive, and he was willing to do it because nobody else would.
