Some great fights tonight. I thought the end of the Curran/Mizugaki fight was pretty rad and did not see Miguel getting KOd like that. Actually almost seemed like a late stoppage in real time [although in slow mo it didn't seem AS bad.]

rad?
Curran was jobbed... hard.
I'll give Miz the take down defensive win in the first, but all that guard offense from Curran won it IMO.
Is that it for Curran? 4 in a row...

I meant more rad in the sense that Curran had that Triangle sunk in pretty deep, Miz fought off tapping and they continued to roll for a bit. I'd agree though that Curran looked like he had won the fight (other than the first) but top position is all judges care about when scoring a lot of times, you know? Curran definitely dished out more shots and sub attempts and dictated the pace IMO from the bottom and should have had the last two rounds.

I agree Curran should have won, but as Effjay points out a lot of times the judges see the guy on top and give them the round. i hope he doesnt retire. he put on a good show sunday

Anybody catch Strikeforce tonight? Mousasi handed Babalu his ass, Carano got exposed, that's about all that was interesting. Not a bad show, but not as good as they had promised it would be (then again, drug tests and injuries got in the way of that).

mousasi is a fucking stud. it's too bad that after one fight he's already cleared out strikeforce's lhw division. hopefully they can bring in a guy like arona or nogueira to at least give him an interesting fight and then maybe he can make a move to the ufc because who really wants to see that guy waste his time with the likes of mike whitehead and bobby southworth?
