I wonder who the hell he's going to fight.. They can't give him anyone that high profile. They should have him fight Franklin and leave Hendo at 185.

And/or have Franklin and Henderson tag team Ortiz. I'd pay to see that!

I just figured they were tied up through the ultimate fighter airing and whenever they're fighting (November or so?). Tito's been out for so long, I feel like he might need to get fed a chump or two if they're actually going to let him take a run at it. Or they could have him play stepping stone to a few dudes, then fight Jardine in the BATTLE OF THE GATEKEEPERS!

I know I'll take some shit for this, but if I was Dana I do everything short of having Tito blow me at the next event before I took his ungrateful ass back.
He's done as a real contender anyway, he couldn't earn a shot like a no name would need to. I'll leave the cheers to see him fight to the drive-bys.
And so, for that matter, and Franklin & Wandi. Let them all go at each other for draw appeal, but they're not serious contenders. Hell, Hendo (who I have always pulled for) just saved his career - I don't think Tito has it in 'em to actually climb the ranks.
What I want to see acknowledged from all of them is that you can piss and moan all you want about purses and getting screwed by Zuffa, but who else not only built this bitch to where it is, but is still around? I have supported all the various organizations with my ppv buys, live tickets, etc. and really liked some of the groups, but everyone burns too many bridges - it only feeds the beast like Zuffa to wanna screw 'em even more.

I read somewhere he is locked up with movies for a while and they are contemplating an interim belt in the mean time. he's 37 and he has said he does want to fight again. i imagine he is waiting for "big fights"...

Cung is was more intersted in being rich & famous than he is in MMA. But he's nearing the end of his career so you can't blame the guy for trying to parlay it into something else while he still can.
