I hear the ones with the "E ink" are supposed to be a lot better on the eyes. my friend has the nook that had half e ink and half color touch screen, you can import your own ebooks to it. I'm unsure if you can do that with the kindle.

the eink is amazing. it looks almost like a regular book. that's why i always recommend something like a nook to people over an ipad. the ipad looks like a..well...a phone/laptop screen.

also the thing about reading in the sun is so true. the screen is matte and softer, both wish allow you to read in the sun but also make it easier on the eyes when reading in general.

yeah, the regular kindle is a nice size and it is real skinny. I like it, and it's only $139.
