My "oldman" cat lived to be just past 24. I'm 40. He passed 4 years ago. Just before he passed, I also lost a nine month old fireball of a kitten to FIV and she gave it to one of our other cats that passed a month after my "oldman". I'm getting tears just writing this. I was crushed and I'm a pretty strong person emotionally.

Last week I just realized that "the other' cat's sisters are pushing 11 years old and most cats don't live past 16.

On a movie note

I just watched Halo: Legends yesterday. I really like those short movies. They bring a whole new view to the HALO universe.

I'm not a freak fanboy, so I was able to enjoy them. However, if you are a freak fanboy, I don't suggest you watch them. There's some things presented that you won't like.

I've watched it a few times, and checked the sources and science behind it, and you know what, i was better off not knowing the shit had hit the fan and started to fester. With Enron the smartest guys in the room, it was brilliant but ultimately didn't have anything to do with me, this movie Collapse has everything to do with every one of us, we're fucked.

Oh most def. It's those little facts that you hear now and again but sort of dismiss and ignore. Then you hear everything at once with all the facts and evidence and it's really hard to "ignore".

Saw Crazy Heart on Friday. The ending was a little rushed, but Jeff Bridges gave one of the best performances I've seen in a couple years.

Lynch movies are so hard to watch. And this son of a bitch is damn near 3 hours. I've had it on dvd for about 2 years and still haven't gotten around to seeing it. I'd like to hear what all you have to say about it though.
