what constitutes a n00b, post count or join date? And if the latter, how long ago is the cut off point?

Some n00bs will join and post like 300 times in a few days.. so some clarification would be stellar

however you like to define it. personally, i use join date < 2 months.

example, jizz = noob.

I would say a n00b would be constituted by not only post count but by post CONTENT. Are they sharing stuff in the Park Bench, are they engaging in the conversations or are they just flooding the "Random thought" thread and throwing a few thank you's here and there? And of course if their requests outnumber the thank yous--its a n00b sign.

That's my take at least.

It shouldn't be hard to pick your favorite noob. You won't know the lurkers whether they've been around for a day or a year. Your favorite should be whoever you notice that has recently started posting and made an impression. It doesn't really matter when they joined, but more when they joined in the fun.

My opinion, anyway...

I personally just wait until one of the resident "Soul Annihilators" rip a poster and use the words "STFU Noob" before I label them as one. Or if their username has jizz or black in it.
