One thing you would recommend that someone do in their lifetime
Okay, so I just returned from Israel today and literally traveled all over the country. I did so many amazing things while I was there, but there is one thing that really sticks out to me that I think everyone should do at least once in their lifetime. Israel truly is an amazing country and there is just so much history that it is unreal. From a religious standpoint, I found that visiting the Western (Wailing) Wall was truly and unbelievable experience. From a historical standpoint, touring Masada and the Old City of Jerusalem was amazing. Looking at things in the present, I found the beaches of Tel Aviv to be amazing, as was visiting a Tanker Battalion at an IDF military base in the Gholan Heights and having lunch with IDF soldiers talking to them about their life experiences. With all that being said, looking at my trip to Israel, as well as all of the other traveling I have done, I think the one thing I would recommend to someone to do in their lifetime is float in the Dead Sea. It's hard to believe people when they say you can't touch the bottom of the Sea if you try, but you really can't. It really is the most unbelievable feeling to be floating the middle of a huge body of water with no effort exerted. So, after my rambling, I would recommend that anyone who has the opportunity to do so, visit the Dead Sea and take a swim.
Anyone else have a recommendation on 1 thing to recommend that someone else should do in their lifetime?
