Instead of this line "I finally get up and go over to the window and open the curtains" you should have used this "I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter. My sweetie put it in perspective...if that truck wasn't there, that guy would have veered into and knocked out the phone pole in front of my house that has my landline phone (who cares all the calls are collection calls for the previous person that had the #), TV (I care but can read or play gameboy for a bit) and internet (NOOOOO fuck NOOOOO don't take it).
