If its something having to do with sinus' or nasal passages-neti pot ftw!

Most other things...just push the fluids. Cant say I really use a whole lot of medicines...I will use Nyquil if I just need to sleep. But I usually just ride it out.

Edit: FORGOT! If its anything to do with a sore throat...ill gargle with salt water...completely gross but it works for me.

I hate taking medicine, but Puffs Plus tissues makes a brand with Vics Vaporub stuff in it. I sit there smelling the tissue and it works wonders!

I like to treat cold/flu/maladies with the Old Number 7 therapy. I mix sourwood honey with Jack Daniels and drink two fingers every morning and before bed. Usually takes a couple days, but it works.
