Leeches, as far as I know only suck blood, but the maggot is a great idea; only it's hard to find sterile, medicinal maggots and a physician that uses them in their practice. I don't know how effective they would be on MRSR, but I saw a documentary once and they are commonly used on burn victims to remove the dead tissue, while leaving the healthy tissue to grow and heal. Biggest problem they said in wound care, is getting the patient to agree to the treatment.
Snake should know more about this, as it is a common practice in Asia.
