just for the little time that i've been here, i've noticed how kind and guideful thesnake was, this world and this forum will be a much sadder place without him.
I don't post much.. but, in the wildlife threads.. I always seeked out his responses to things... it almost didn't seem worthy unless it had the snakes response and seal of approval....
He was one of the most interesting personalities on here......
I'd be happy if this were a joke, i'll be the first to admit I was (happily) fooled :-(
how old was he? he always seemed like in his 40's...

I think it says a lot about Joe that although I never met him in real life, I talked to him often on DSF and on FB too and I am reduced to tears with the news of his passing. A nicer, fairer guy I don't think I'll ever know. Such a shame and the DSF, and the world in general, has lost one of it's good guys. RIP Joe, I miss you already buddy.
