For all the God fearin', church-goin', Bible quotin' Christians along in the heartbelt, please explain why God likes smiting you so much? It's like you are God's bitch but you ain't trickin' enough.
Maybe it's from spouting lines you imagine Jesus having said, when you really treat people with hate and contempt? Think that might be it?

What pisses me off is two cops get shot and killed in Mississippi and the story is on page 4 of my local paper. Then a criminal gets shot by a cop and it is front page news. Then it always mentions both races when a cop shoots a person but if the cop gets shot nope shooters race is never mentioned. RIP to the cops killed on duty

So obviously, Christ's message means little to you. Yet you feel compelled to correct those who you feel pervert it. And then pervert it yourself in your own way. So your own perversion is okay, and theirs isn't. Because you know stuff.

What I see are too many people worshiping Christ. I see too many Catholics worshiping the Virgin Mary. I see too many Muslims worshiping Mohammed. They, and maybe you, are missing the point. These just serve as signposts to help you get to God, not to worship them themselves. That is as stupid as stopping outside a church and worshiping the sign in front, instead of going inside and praying to God.
So to put words in Jesus's mouth, "Hey, pray to God, not me, you dumbass!"

And you got to admit, the mental image of a deep South bible revival with a cash bar is pretty damn funny.
