Microsoft does not support any Windows O/S being installed to anything but a local HDD.

Sucks to be unemployed. I'm dealing with that now. Just got back from a meeting about the Workforce Investment Act. Government will pay up to $15000.00 for 24 months of "career advancement" training/education. You have to go to a few meetings, but it's worth it. I have lots of tech certifications but don't even have an Associates. This will pay for the rest of my classes to get that and a few more certs too.

Good thing about the puppy is if you run out of food... jk

I know the boat you're in. I've got an Associates Degree (not in computers or programming) and one lousy A+ certification. If the place I'm working in ever folds, I'm up shit's creek for the job market, and since that would mean searching the metropolitan of Charlotte again, I'd be back to my 45 mile-one-way commute.
