Tex Tech showed last night that they are for real. They still have a huge challenge against OU, but even if they lose that should push Texas to #2 and into the national title game against the winner of Florida & Bama in the SEC title game. I'm hoping that it is Texas, but either way I'll be happy that it is almost a guarantee that 1 team from the Big 12 south will be in the title game.

I find it retarded that Florida is ranked ahead of Texas in the AP poll and USA Today poll. Florida lost to an unranked team that is 5-4. Texas lost on the last play of the game to a team that is 10-0 and ranked #2 in the country. It doesn't really matter because the BCS has it right and that's what is important, but it is still dumb.

The only thing worse than losing to the canes is losing to wvu or uva. That's one fast, relentless D down there though. Ya gotta think Shannon has them headed in the right direction. Side note, I hate being that guy, but I've got to wonder if the outcome would have been any different if that weak-ass roughing the passer wasn't called, I think that was their touchdown drive, and that looked like a horrible whistle to me. Regardless, I'm now rooting for Georgia Tech . And yes, UF looks like a force to be reckoned with for sure. I think a championship game between them and Texas/TT/OU will be one of the better ones in recent history.
