A new English vigilante type movie. Was surprisingly good. It's got Michael Caine as the lead character. He's good at pretty much anything he's in.

I hate my reluctance towards watching foreign language films. It's the reason it's taken me this long to see this film, which is far and away one of the greatest films I've ever seen.

Amopres Perros is on my to-watch list. The Onion AV CLub did a Top 50 best films of the decade list which I completely and utterly hated. They had City of God ranked as the 40th besat film of this decade, behgind movies like A.I., United 93, Zodiac, Punch Drunk Love, etc. It was really really lame. They even left some key movies off, like The Departed, SLumdog Millionaire, etc. I understood it was the 4 writers of the lists' favorite movies, but to omit those films is lunacy and to instead put indie hipster douche films like The Squid and the Whale on there (which was theior 20th best film of the decade, btw) is ridiculous.

The Squid and the Whale was fucking terrible.

Either way, I devised my own list of films from the last decade. On it are my favorite films from each year (ones that were actually good and not just personal favorites like Punisher: War Zone), as well as movies that I know were highly regarded that I may or may not have seen, as well as films I hadn't really heard of that looked intriguing and might've been lost in the dogpile of great films and easily forgotten. I've marked all the ones I haven't seen and I plan on watching all of them. Amores Perros is on there, I'll queue it up behind The Lives of Others and Children of Men

Man I could give you a list of great movie's to watch. As of late I haven't really been watching much. Seems like I'm never home. But I have over 100 movie's that I have yet to watch. Most of them are supposedly great movies.

i didnt read that novel of a post

but i saw "Children of Men" at the end of it and wanted to say it's one of my favorite movies and also segues perfectly to "The Road" which i saw on friday and i thought was great as well.

The Road is a bit depressing but i still think it was fucking great.
