Beware cheap Nikons on eBay: 22 stolen from NYC red light cameras

Hopefully you're not the sort to risk things by gunning it when the light turns yellow, pushing your (and our) luck, saving yourself a few seconds on the race to the next intersection, and sneering red light cameras. Maybe if you knew the kind of hardware in there you'd have more respect: Nikon's D2X digital SLR. We had no idea there were pro-level shooters in there, but a New York City couple certainly did, running around the city with a cherry picker and pilfering 22 of the things, all sold at pawn shops for a total of $88,000 $6,600 -- money that was promptly spent to further their heroin habit. These two channel swimmers, 45-year-old Anthony Cintorrino and 29-year-old Tara LaBurt, got away with this for a full month before the authorities finally caught up with them. When they were approached they said they were with the DoT... then promptly started running. They didn't get far. Crime doesn't pay, folks, even if it's for a sweet body like that.

Update: The cameras were worth $88,000, but the couple pawned them off for a measly $300 apiece, netting a total of under seven grand. That's a crying shame.

I guess you completely missed that he didn't actually have a beer with the lowly cop? Not kidding here. The only person to drink from their beer was the cop. Not Obama, Biden, nor the professor.

Now, I don't know how many of you are up on diplomacy, but that is a blatant slap in the face. One does not invite someone to drinks, meal or such and then not drink, eat, etc.

So, Obama was never trained in diplomacy, or he knew exactly what he was doing. Either way, it's bad. Either he's clueless about proper etiquet, or he's intentionally trying to show the "elite" crowed that he's one of them and doesn't let some average guy push him around.

I'm serious. Him not drinking will be seen by leaders around the world that he is placing himself above the officer, that the officer was not worthy enough for Obama (biden and professor) to drink with him. This is old school diplomacy stuff. Almost as bad as the way he treated Queen Elisabeth during that visit and his BOWING to middle east leaders. CHRIST, EQUALS DON'T FUCKING BOW!!!! Only subservients bow!!

Just got back from a crime seen. Apparently three hoodlums tried to jack my second cousin while he was trying to distribute food to corner stores. They jumped him by popping him in the face with a basketball hard as hell then beating him. They didn't think he was strapped and one of them ended up dead. This is Texas for christ's sake. Dumbasses.

Haha yeah. We can own guns all over the U.S. In most states you can have a concealed handgun license. I think in all, but I'm not sure. He had a ruger 9mm. I own a .40 glock.

Yeah, he's fine. When my pops and I rolled up we were surrounded by about 120 people from the same community. We were called to take his truck and his trailer full of chips and stuff. The community was not happy to see us. AT ALL. Funny thing was the news was out there, I gotta check tomorrow cause I might be on it walking around in a t-shirt with a sumo wrestler that reads "I'm huge in Japan"
