I hate to admit this but I just started the sookie stackhouse ( hbo's true blood) series. So far they are pretty good reads.

Is that the one written in the Egyptian meme? If so it is Creatures of Light and Darkness. I haven't read it yet, but I just downloaded it. I can send you a text file if you want it.
I think I'll post the Amber book. I've read the series a few times and really enjoy it.

I just finished reading 'Name Of The Wind' by Patrick Rothfuss. I was thinking of reading Sookie series. Figured if I could read all 'Twilight' books, what could be worse?

I don't doubt I'll hear crap over that last sentence. LoL

just started...he has given the background for taking the trip and vaguely described what he will be doing...you should check out Heat if you haven't already its an excellent read and has a similar premise

The Dresden Files book number 6 Blood Rites by Jim Butcher, I love this series and each book gets better and better

Not my usual genre, but Follett is a solid writer and I can never pass up a free book.

I haven't read that one yet, but have it in ebook format. He also wrote a few books called Wizard World which were real good. Another author, John Betancourt wrote 3 books called the Dawn of Amber which takes place with Oberon as the primary character and how Amber is created. They're not Zelazny, but they're not bad either.

I've read the entire Dresden files series, and they are outstanding. His other series Codex Alera is equally as good.
