There's nothing more exhilarating than pointing out the shortcomings of others, is there?

I don't get Jason Guida being on the next TUF. He's over 30 with a 17-17 career record. Not exactly an up & comer. The UFC will fucking shit bricks if he wins.
You want to see an example of how just everything is wrong with EliteXC? Check out this video which is part of their new ad campaign to draw in people. The theme, you ask? Oh, well it's "HITS and CHICKS". This shit is terrible.

And their big announcement is that they are joining forces with Golden Boy productions (De La Hoya's company) to co-promote the January card. Supposedly we'll get boxing along with our MMA in January.

They really couldn't have picked anything worse than partnering up with a boxing promotion. The majority of MMA fans don't want to watch boxing. I think it's a huge mistake. I guess only time will tell.

I'm an MMA fan who does not watch boxing. If there isn't a freakshow in the boxing ring (I'd still pay to see Tyson) I don't really care for it. In fact, I find it completely boring most of the time. Then again, I'm in the 18-30 demographic that has left boxing behind. If I get that card, and that's a big if, I'd be surprised if I actually watch the boxing fights or use that to get up and get my beer / popcorn.
Renzo Gracie to star in documentary featured at U.S. Sports Film Festival
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and MMA legend Renzo Gracie will be featured in a documentary titled “Renzo Gracie: Legacy” at the inaugural U.S. Sports Film Festival in Philadelphia, Pa., during its three-day run from October 23 to 26.
Gracie (13-6-1) last competed at Elite XC: “Destiny” where he defeated Frank Shamrock via disqualification. Shammy felt it was necessary to drive his knees into Gracie’s head while he was on the ground despite being warned by referee Herb Dean regarding an earlier infraction involving the back of the head.
Gracie is perhaps best known for his battles with Dan Henderson and Kazushi Sakuraba back in the days of PRIDE Fighting Championship.
From festival founder and President Stephan Hartman:
“Given MMA’s rising popularity worldwide and its recent approval for competition in the state of Pennsylvania, the debut of the life story of such a living legend as Renzo Gracie was a perfect fit.”
A member of the legendary Gracie family, he is the son of Robson Gracie, grandson of Carlos Gracie, nephew of Carlos Gracie Jr. and grand-nephew of Helio Gracie. His brothers Ralph and the late Ryan Gracie were also competitors in PRIDE.
