Well, I went into it not expecting anything, neither good nor bad. I rate it better than Wolverine, WAY better than the latest Harry Potty, about the same as Transformers 2, better than Terminator Salvation. Star Trek was much better though.
Observations: GI:Joe is AMERICAN and they fucking made it part of NATO!!! But, since France gets fucked with I don't feel so bad. If any of you have ever played Crysis, it's a lot like that. Has some of that old GI:Joe feel, especially that you see a lot of people getting "hit", but you don't really see anyone die. Acting was pretty good. Scarlett is HOT, so was the General's assistant for the short amount of time she was in the movie. It was really funny to see bad guys in uniforms looking very much like DS9 (Star Trek) Federation uniforms. Lastly, I swear the bad guy's "sweet new jet" is the same model used 20 years ago for Firefox (Clint Eastwood movie). It's even voice controlled
Henry Poole Is Here
The wife and I watched it tonight after trying out a new Sushi place. Sushi was pretty good, movie was really cool. I'm not sure how to explain it without ruining it. NOT a comedy even though that's the category on the 360. Very thought provoking, sweet, sentimental, just really cool. Not anything that I expected. I rate this as a must see movie.
I knew what it was, so it didn't disappoint cuz my expectations weren't too high.
Kevin James was fine, the movie was average, but there were some (unexpected) funny parts. And a bit of adult humor, which was welcome.
Anyway, not a horrible way to spend 1.5 hrs. Might be better if ur blazed...
Oh yeah, the younger brother from Wedding Crashers is in it, in a semi-serious role.
