I was watching The Today Show the other morning with Tony Robbins as a guest and he mentioned the market may go down another 30-40% by a trader he has coached and known for a long time. This was confided to him by someone who made billion dollars what I think was from the 1987 stock market crash.

I doubt it, I think floor is going to be 8k. But I've been wrong before.

I honestly think 10 months is too long. If this ambiguity would last that long main street is going to be hurting like a bastard. Too bad G.W. started a shitty war already, we could use one to prop up the market.

The real problem I see is that with exception to some electronics and food, world production have been over pressured to produce more goods than what I feel the real world market demands. Meaning there's too much shit out there than what can be purchased and used. The pressure to perform profitably and the lofty expectations to out do the last quarter by wide margins have been really out of touch with reality for a longest of time. I put the same parallels to the idiots who wanted to get rich with real estate flipping properties.

Whoever wins the presidency will have the praise to have brought the economy up out of the cellar, for the fact there's only way and that is up. History will mostly forget how bad the economy got under the late term of George Bush's administration, but will concentrate on the how well or badly his predecessor will do.

And frankly all this talk about more stimulus packages and what not is nothing but borrowed money. I do believe and it amazes me that many Americans haven't gotten that fact into their heads. So if another stimulus check comes in next year, it only means your children or grandchildren will have to somehow pay that shit back plus interest within their lifetimes amongst all the other shit that have been added.

Ha man, stimulus packages and pork are bought with Chinese money. And as the dollar starts sliding and the interest doesn't look so good, those deep pockets won't be so deep.
