I was at a place in Texas and had to take a leak. I walked over to a wall and was doing my business and looked down at my feet and saw this spider. I looked around and saw the other one about a foot away. I kind of freaked, but had to take the pics because they were cool.

On the east coast in the Appalachians, I grew up in West Virginia. I dont know what the snake is really called, we always just called them Black Snakes

When my family first moved to texas, I was about 4. A jumping spider was on my desk outside, so i went to brush it off. ((having just come from Alaska, where the only spiders are the longlegged ones,)) and it jumped up on me. So i tried to grab it with my hand, and it bit me. So i stepped on it. I wasn't going to hurt it before then...

oh..i'd love to keep some as pets...just to fuck with peoples minds!
i myself prefer more evolved species u can cuddle with...and for some odd reason snakes...wonder why?!
but scorpions do make great snacks!
look how happy this lady is "wooo, i'm gonna put some strange in my mouth that is guaranteed to leave a bitter taste"

These pictures are awesome. That is a beautiful Black Widow and next to her is an egg sac. The white round thing. If you look close you can actually see the developing eggs inside. very cool, Thanks for sharing.

Shouldn't be an indigo in WV. Only GA and FL. 20-30 years ago you could find them in AL and SC but they have been extinct from there for years.
