It's highly doubtful that Florida will end up in the top 2 by the end of the year. There are still 4 undefeated team and there are at least 2 one loss teams in front of them. Maybe 3 depending on where Texas lands after this loss. Texas has had a way tougher schedule than Florida and should probably fall to 7th and Florida stay at 8th.
I would guess the top 10 would shake out like this.
1. Alabama
2. Penn State
3. Oklahoma
4. USC
5. Texas Tech
6. Texas
7. Florida
8. Oklahoma State
9. Utah
10. Boise State

Why would Florida jump both OU and USC? They both beat the fuck out of their opponents this week. Granted Georgia was ranked higher than their opponents, but what did either do to deserver getting jumped by another 1 loss team? Even if you can justify them jumping USC, jumping OU makes no sense. OU lost to Texas. Florida lost to Ole Miss.
because usc's schedule is soft as fuck...and voters care about style points....holding georgia to 3 points with stafford, massequoi, MORENO, etc is a HUGGGE deal..but admittedly, OU took care of bidness today, so maybe uf will go to 5 and ou will be 4...but dont be surprised if uf is in the natl champ game...
its sorta depressing the big ten keeps getting their teams into natl champ games(if psu gets in, i mean)....theyre always exposed by other conferences...i hate the big ten

I do agree that the Big 10 is highly overrated. Soft schedules and no title game make it way too easy for them. I'd love to see Big 12 vs. SEC champs in the title game.
I still wish they would put together a playoff system though. Texas has played 4 straight weeks against top 10 opponents and every game has been great. I'd love to see that to close out every season.
yeah i feel worst for texas in this entire thing...but they still have a chance to win out and win the big 12...that would put them in the title game i think...
pac-10 and big 10 have the softest teams. i like the acc this yr; they took on the role of hardnosed, grind it out fball conference where everyone beats on everyone else.
but it ought to be texas v florida. that would fun to watch...psu better not fuck shit up; is this supposed to be joepas last season? cuz then the writers would get all sad and shit and let him get pummeled in the championship game.
