I don't disagree with anything you said. Casual fans cerainly make things better for the fighters at the end of the day, they just piss me the fuck off. I'll occasionally go to a sports bar and watch fights if I'm with guys who train/fight. Watching the fights with fighters is great. That said, I do choose to mainly watch the fights at my house with friends.
None of my friends are really as into the fights as I am, and in turn, I actually watch most of them on my own / with my chick (she's picked up on the fight game and half way appreciates what's going on, so long as it doesn't get too bloody.) I have to admit, I do own an Affliction shirt, but it was a present from the same special lady because it was on sale while she was spending some of my money on her. I think I got the raw end of the deal
It's not that they're uncool....in fact, most of the affliction shirts are fairly badass....i just refuse to buy one because of the TUF N00bs.....I also dislike the fact that people always seem to buy them 2 sizes too small....when i see that, i generally will walk by and tell them they should give their little brother his shirt back
There's nothing more exhilarating than pointing out the shortcomings of others, is there?

Can't argue with any of that. I've been thinking about getting a couple of shirts from Koscheck's company. They aren't expensive and I'd rather support an actual fighter than a corporation.
On a side note, how do I know if I'm a TUF n00b? I'm a bit concerned.

Do you say things like "kick his ass seabass" or do you think that Brock Lesnar isn't the best heavyweight of all time? Are you aware that there is MMA in Japan and some of the best fighters in the world fight there? Did you know there was such a thing as MMA before TUF? Also, if you think guys should "fishhook" or poke other fighters in the eyes you might be a TUF N00b....I don't really think you're a N00b though...you seem like you know your shit so I've never thought of you as a N00b.

The only reason I worry is because I've only been watching MMA consistently for about a year. I really started watching regularly around TUF 5. Before then I was in college and could barely afford cable let alone PPVs. I've tried to educate myself and I watch everything MMA I can get my eyes on now, but I think TUF n00b still describes me. I try to be a non douche TUF n00b.
