Ok so the problem is that he just doesn't deserve the silver spoon he's being fed with. I don't take anything away from his athletic talent. He's incredibly strong and will beat a lot of heavyweights due to his strength/agility. He just doesn't deserve this and I hate what Dana is doing right now.

Dana is trying to lure the WWE fanbase with Brock Lesnar. Those douchebags will pay money to watch the freakshow with the penis tatoo on his chest. The hardcore and "old school" MMA fans hate this prick and everything he stands for. His WWE antics in the ring make him that much less appealing. i really hope he talks shit about Big Nog (because I think he'll be able to hold Randy down for 5 rounds to smother out a decision) and then Minotauro chokes the fucker on conscious
There's nothing more exhilarating than pointing out the shortcomings of others, is there?

This shit is so political. Matt Serra was basically stripped of his title and GSP was named interim champ because of an injury. I know it was related to the TUF layoff, but it was still BS. Randy refused to defend his title. He doesn't deserve it. If things were truly fair, it would be a #1 contender match between Lesnar & Randy. Then the winner would get a chance for the title against the winner of Nog & Mir. I don't think Lesnar deserves a title shot now, but a win against Couture is enough for a title shot as far as I'm concerned. If he can win that title shot against Mir or Nog, I say he deserves to be HW champ. He would be 4-1 at that point. It's not an extensive record, but BJ only had 3 pro fights when he went up against Pulver. On a BJ note, he's my favorite fighter and his blood licking antics are just as disrespectful even if they aren't as douchey as the shit Lesnar pulled after beating Herring.
I have to qualify me liking Brock: I like him for the freak show factor. I think as far as fighting goes, other than the rhino charge at herring and his wild blows at Mir, he's boring. It's his athleticisim I like. . .his antics, not so much. Same reason I don't like Barnett all that much. A whole lot a talky. At least Barnett has the catch wrestling background to back it up in MMA.

I'd agree with that. His size alone causes problems for many HW fighters. As it has been said by many before his title shot is to sell PPV. If he wins, he fights mir/nog and gains respect. People will then call for the rematch and more PPV will be sold. Dana and the UFC look at fights from a pure $$$ perspective, they occasionally will put on fights because they are good matchup.

I actually hate the fans he brings to the sport. They are the "kick his ass seabass" type fans. They go to get as drunk as possible and then act like fucking boners (It would be totally fine if they could get drunk and not act like assholes). It also brings uneducated fucks to the fights. I hate that shit. It's the main reason I can't go watch the fights at certain bars. I want to punch the idiots in the face for yelling and talking a bunch of shit that they know nothing about while wearing a Tapout or Affliction tshirt.
Don't know if anyone caught it, but on ESPN's First Take this morning (their "Today" like show on ESPN2) they had Randy and Brock talking about their match. All Brock could get out was "He has something I want." Luckily, he left most of the talking to Randy. Nothing new came out of it, and very little importance, but it was amazing to see Brock, prior to having to cut weight, and just how big he is in street clothes next to Randy.

I hate casual fans for the most part, but I still think they are good for the sport and good for the fighters. I don't like to watch MMA in public and I'll never own an Affliction shirt because I don't want to be one of those guys. I usually watch most PPVs at my house or a friend's house. The experience is just better that way for me.
