lol I was being sarcastic. We have a hockey team here in Houston called the Aeros. We won the turner cup a shit load of times apparently. I say apparently because no one knows or cares where the stadium is or where its getting played.

You know its funny you bring that up cause that's the way I feel about the world in general. I have to deal with people from all over the world in my job and I've never heard a guy come over here and say everything sucks. Hell I feel bad for the Iranians because the people that come over tell me that the people LOVE us (us meaning americans and westerners in general). I've been to Venezuela where we don't even have diplomatic relations at the moment and as soon as I land and people know I'm american their tongues are shoved directly up my ass (unless they work for the government ). Its sad that governments ruin relations that should be good between cultures.

Its true, governments screw it up for us all. Because we see and hear about them so much via the media. Some build up this image that all in that country must be like them. It crazy, its like thinking we here all have bowler hats and drink tea.
Its great when travelling to notice peoples reactions to you and then to your nationality.

I mean its all in the way you look at it man. They love our clothing, our brands, our technology, our lifestyles, and our culture in general. I mean they ask me to bring back shit, not expensive shit, all the time. I take them some bourbon they give me some Cuban cigars and some crazy rum. I think to say its just because we spend a lot is over simplifying.

People think that I ride a horse to work and my family owns oilfields and there are tumbleweeds in the streets. More often than not they listen to me talk and ask where my accent is . I just say it was taken up at customs.
