For a movie that routinely shows up on people's top comedies of all-time list, it sure was an unfunny movie.

It's a dark comedy by Scorsese, except it's not really funny. It's annoying how unfunny it is. I did a search for best comedies of all-tiome on Google and looked at dozens of lists and this was in the 20-40 range on every one. But it's not fucking funny at all.

+ mutha-effin' 1 - I did the same thing about a year ago based upon those lists.

But maybe it's just me, cause I still don't dig Donnie Darko, as many chances as I've given it at everyones urging.

was in the mood for something light and this was perfect. lead was cute and quirky. pleasant surprise.

I never made it past the first 1/2 hour of that movie. It was just to weird and lame for me.

I just finished watching this movie on the recommendation of a friend, but I found it lame. Am I losing my funny bone or did some of you others find it weak, too? I enjoyed these guys in Hot Fuzz, but this one as lackluster.

Out of interest, which films would you say are not lame? I haven't seen all of Amelie yet but from what I saw it was beautifully crafted together and very charming.

I have seen Sean of the Dead a bunch of times and I definitely though it was much better than Hot Fuzz. However, Sean of the Dead used more British humour and situations, I don't think Hot Fuzz had so much of that in it. Other than that it was in some weird village in England.

I am not really sure how to give you more opinions cos I don't know what you didn't like about these movies other than they were weak or lame.....wait a minute. Cartman is that you?
