The history channel has a modern marvels on Beer recently which made me think of you.

Did you know in the late 1900s the US was a world class beer maker? Awards from all over the world, and over 1600 breweries in the US alone. By the end of prohibition there were like 130 left. And we all know the dismal dark time of US beer making in the 70s thru the mid 90s. Which thankfully has died a away, and quality beer making is staging a comeback.

Makes me thirsty for a Yeungling.

Yea, that's all true. Fuckin BMCs. There's a lot of craft brew in this part of Cali. Even the supermarket here sells different kinds of hops and brewer's yeast.

There's something weird going on in the picture threads. When I go into Funny Pix or WTF or Random Pics, most of the posts have these weird square or rectangular multi-colored objects. They're like two dimensional figural representations of three dimensional objects. Sometimes they resemble humorous tableax, but most often they resemble nude women. It's like someone went through and replaced all the red Xs with these new things. Curious.
