actually, vince had paul e. on payroll in order to compensate him for signing the ecw talent to wwe. vince felt that helping ecw was good for business. bischoff just took, giving nothing back and denying his unethical practices.
ecw was officially bankrupt prior to the sale to wwe. look it up.
at the time of the end of ecw there was only one owner, paul heyman. according to some, he was a bit shakey at times when it came to money and others say that he never missed a payday. desperate times call for desperate measures. the man was trying to save his baby from dying. he is not to blame for the fall of ecw. there were many factors, probably the biggest being having their tv spot with tnn taken away. no tv, no money. no money, no ecw.

Mick Foley Comments On If He Signed With TNA

During an autograph session at the Cleveland Indians game over the weekend, Mick Foley commented on if he signed with TNA.
"Well, I can say that is not true," Foley said when asked if he has signed with TNA, "though I may try out a pay-per-view with them."
Foley's WWE contract expires tomorrow. It will be interesting to see if he will attend a few events to get a feel for the company before committing to a long-term deal.
