A town that really sucks for beer drinkers is Vegas. Five bucks for a Bud Light or a Coors. Occasionally you might find Fat Tire and there's a fake Irish pub in the fake New York that has a Guinness, but apart from that the pickings are slim.

I've had a lot of stale beers in Vegas. Why can't they get fresh beer? Sure, it's in the desert but that's no excuse.

they may have said that but with in the past 10yrs micro brews have blown thru the roof...there are countless styles of beer that are made and a lot of makers...my friend makes a beer that has no name to it yet but is one of the best beers i have ever had...tellin ya, some companies are doing major things, including ellicotville brewery which happens to be my cousins. if the guys you talk to haven't been to the states within the past year and haven't tried some of the micro brews that have developed, they have no idea what they are talking about....never been to england but have tried several beers from there and they were disgusting, i was actually at a bar that received all their beers straight from england....my guess would be that in between international boundaries the real beer doesn't make it anywhere but where brewed cause all the major beer companies make it to hard for the small guys to get into it
