The Browns have released Lewis (concussion), the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Lewis finished the 2009 season on IR with lingering post concussion-related symptoms, so his future remains uncertain at this point. If the desire is there -- and the symptoms are not down the road -- though, he could probably land a job somewhere in a complementary role as bruising back.

wouldnt surprise me at all....
but LT has definately lost a step, 30 years old is pretty much the age of the wall for running backs. his best season was obviously '06 with a steady decline ever since. he barely got over 3 ypc this past season.... who would want that?

they have sproles. and lt doesn't want a back up roll. he put in his 9 hard years but the life of a running back comes and goes. once you lose it. its gone forever.

LT is still a better back than the big booty lover ever will be (as long as he's healthy).
I mean, I like Reggie, but he's full of gimmick (and bunny-hopping yard loses).
Of course Brees wants a versatile vet like LT to compliment a solid runner like Pierre - I say again: lotsa life left in LT @ ~ 1,000 yards.
And I won the DSF FF league primarily because Sproles was my steady earner, but it was based upon special teams yards, not from scrimmage - he is too small to be the Chargers primary.
