I've been meaning to finally add myself in here but hadn't gotten around to it. Until now...

I have never been a Yankee fan, but he was one of my heroes. I swear, I cried the day his plane crashed. He was one of the last true baseball players that were in the game for the game, not the money. Another was Roberto Clemente and Willie Stargell. They all not only play and lived baseball, they were all team captains, in the sports for the love of it, not for the money and gave back to the communities they played in.
